When Performative Christians Win and US Veterans Lose

MAGA Performative "Christians" and fellow Veterans might still be on that runway train, so this is especially for you.

The billionaire doesn't want to pay his fair share in taxes. Musk, none of them, want to pay their fair share. They've rigged the system against us.

So he's CUTTING VA programs.

Despite what the right wing "entertainment news" sources tell you, they are cutting 580+ programs from the VA, in ADDITION to the cuts they made in March: 

~Follow up care for cancer patients.

~Monitoring of radiation treatments and care, again for vets with cancer.

~Care for vets who have strokes.

~Pharmacy operations, internal and external.

~PTSD studies and care.

~The VA electronic systems contract, keeping track of and maintaining the integrity of all veterans' records, not just VA eligible ones. 

~Laying off an additional 80,000 VA employees, mostly veterans themselves. 

~Cancelled radiation inspections required for hospitals to remain open... SO end goal? To close VA hospitals altogether?

~Cancelled contracts for sterile equipment and sterilization (medical cleaning) products. 

~Stopped all efforts to recruit medical staff to provide care for veterans in rural areas.

~oversight program to ensure doctors aren't overpaid (seems like we would need this unless you're going to stop covering veterans altogether).

~contracts for medical waste disposal (again, they need this unless they aren't going to exist at all...)

Could the VA be improved? Sure, but it is leaps and bounds better than it was 20 years ago because we've invested in improving it. In one swoop, they've taken it back 30-40 years.

Stop talking how you support veterans while you stand idle, letting a billionaire destroy the care we get.
